Write a Haiku
This is a traditional Japanese poem of three short lines that do not rhyme. They are usually but not always five, seven and five syllables long in English versions. Most often written in the present tense, a haiku often depicts a moment by using pairs of distinct images working in tandem, An example is by Kobayashi Issa, translated by Jane Hirshfield:
On a branch
floating downriver
a cricket, singing.
